The Council on Jewish Workplace Issues (CJWI), a beneficiary of the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago, seeks an Executive Director (ED). CJWI is a not-for-profit social agency dedicated to addressing and removing anti-Semitism from the workplace. With the CJWI Board of Directors, the ED works with executives of major Chicago area employers to raise awareness of Jewish issues in the workplace and review specific recruiting, hiring, and promotion practices. The ED also coordinates communication efforts and assists Jewish employees and candidates in responding to specific anti-Semitic situations in their workplace. The ED will receive a competitive salary and benefits package.

Requirements
The ED should have presence and experience in working with senior corporate management and knowledge of Jewish culture and religion. Experience with corporate human resources functions and issues and in working with not-for-profit Boards of Directors, and outstanding writing and organizational skills, is desirable. The candidate should have a superb sense of independence, discretion and confidentiality.
